Architectural Digest Home Design Show - Pier 94, New York City

G-O2TM collaboration with Plant Connection, Mingo Design, City Beautiful Carpentry, and Kokobo Plantscapes at the 2010 Architectural Digest Home Design Show to create a complete urban outdoor living oasis display.

23-Story Atrium Living Wall - New York City

This 32' x 60' G-O2TM Living Wall is home to 11,673 plants and contains a 12-zone irrigation system with a remote monitoring system to optimize the health of the plants. This living wall adds to the list of metropolitan areas with living walls that are greatly impacting the urban landscape.

This G-O2TM Living Wall spans three floors in this NYC office building’s glass stairway, providing multiple levels of texture, color, and a more appealing and healthier environment.

800 17th Street - Washington, DC

Located one block from The White House, this 56' wide by 11' tall G-O2TM Living Wall was installed to replace a previously existing system. The living wall is just one of many sustainable green features implemented at this building.

American Cancer Society Hope Lodge - New York City

PCI had the wonderful privilege and honor to create a living Wall at the ACS Hope Lodge. Hope Lodge felt that a green wall would provide its guests with therapeutic benefits. Thanks to their generous support, PNC sponsored the living wall, drawing inspiration from their iconic design at the PNC Bank in Pittsburgh, PA.

Annual Vertical Garden | 2010 - Aquebogue, NY

This G-O2TM Living Wall planted with annuals demonstrates how you can use the beauty of a vertical garden to create privacy and intimacy in your backyard space. The Annual Living Wall not only looks beautiful, it helps cool the deck area and helps to reduce noise from an adjoining neighbor's driveway on the other side of the deck.

Annual Vertical Garden | 2014 - Aquebogue, NY

Using an array of annuals, these living walls have turned this deck and spa space into its own tropical paradise. In order to use the hot tub yearlong, the homeowner added a graphic banner of vegetation. Not only does it still create privacy when the living wall panels are removed, it adds a finishing touch to the fence post structure constructed for the living wall, creating continual visual appeal.

Applebee's - New York City

Plant Connection designed a G-O2TM Living Wall for Applebee's, incorporating the apple logo into the planting scheme. This restaurant is one of the city's first USGBC LEED Gold certified restaurants and is equipped with over 40 environmentally-friendly upgrades including rainwater and daylight harvesting, waterless urinals, LED light fixtures, Energy Star equipment, living walls, and reclaimed wood.

Banco do Brasil - New York City

This banking space offers its customers a unique experience. While sitting in the lounge area, patrons can manage their banking needs and view a living wall comprised of indoor tropical plants. On the other side of the bank, employees now have an enhanced working environment.

Boy Scouts of America - West Virginia

This year’s Boy Scouts of America Summit Event greeted the scouts in a new fashion with a living replication of their emblem, a fleur-de-lis. Measuring 8’ x 8’, Plant Connection designed the G-O2TM Green Wall with two different types of plants in order to define the shape. The Boy Scouts took much pleasure in seeing their emblem life size in a living wall!

Canisius College installed two 8' x 20' G-O2TM Living Walls. They add life and oxygen to the populated space, where students and professors may spend the entire day indoors.

Casa B Restaurant - Union Square, Sommerville, MA

A new tapas bar features a 16’ long green wall, full of lush low-light tropicals. Diners at this fine restaurant have a stunning and inviting atmosphere surrounding them.

Clarian Health / Indiana University Health - Indianapolis, IN

Clarian Health used G-O2TM Living Walls to camouflage AC units outside the NICU for new mothers and babies. Organic serpentine lines curl over a once boxy, industrial-looking space. Pockets of green intercept the curving lines, lending a soothing visual appeal for mothers when they look out the window.

Department of Environment & Natural Resources - Raleigh, NC

G-O2TM Living Walls were used to help make DENR the greenest complex in Raleigh. The green walls represent one of many components of the Green Square Complex that illustrate the most current sustainable design strategies. Designed to be multidimensional, the living walls wrap around the wall sides.

LongHouse Garden Container Exhibit - East Hampton, NY

Plant Connection was excited to participate in this year's On & Off The Ground IV Garden Container Exhibit displayed on 16 acres of sculpture-laden gardens at LongHouse Reserve. Considered one of the leading horticultural events on the Hamptons summer circuit, this creative competition stirs the imaginations of designers and spectators alike. LongHouse brings together art and nature, aesthetics and spirit, with a strong conviction that the arts are central to living wholly and creatively.

Ireland Gannon Associates used G-O2TM Living Walls to create a window display of a simulated vertical farm. A Green Wall featured in the City Garden display creates a living mural of a dragonfly on a lily pad.

Mandala Living Wall - Southampton, NY

This private residence G-O2TM Living Wall in the Hamptons is meant to represent a Buddhist symbol called a mandala. Mandala is Sanskrit for circle, polygon, community, or connection.

This green wall was designed to be enjoyed from inside. The offices on each floor now have a growing, green view mirroring their window.

Pizza by Cer Té - New York City

Designed and installed by Mingo Design, Pizza by Cer Té is the first green pizza parlor in NYC! It makes use of every opportunity to be eco-friendly:

  • Building is LEED-certified
  • Utilizes rain water for irrigating the green wall
  • Food is delivered by foot or via hybrid truck
  • All supplies and food purchased locally
  • Pizza boxes, utensils and paper goods made from recyclable materials

PNC Bank - Pittsburgh, PA

Plant Connection completely overhauled Pittsburgh’s iconic living wall in May of 2012 that included an upgraded G-O2TM Living Wall system, irrigation system, and state-of-the-art remote monitoring sensors. The new G-O2TM system allows for 100% natural management of the green wall, providing the client with a more sustainable and environmentally sound option for maintaining the wall.

PNC Bank - Baltimore, MD

A more than 2,000 SF G-O2TM Living Wall was unveiled, making it the largest living wall in Maryland. It has some important features that will further help advance the green wall industry, including the use of a cutting edge, remote monitoring system. The valuable data will be recorded and studied.

Private Residence - Westhampton Beach, NY

Taking vertical advantage of the fence partitions on either side of this balcony, four 2’ x 2’ G-O2TM living wall panels were hung on each and create an immediate visual impact. Whether inside or sitting on a chaise, the homeowner now has views of a lush verdant wall where previously nothing could grow – a living fence!

At this private residence, the client wanted to make their entertaining area flourish with seasonal color, while at the same time soften and disguise the fence that separated their property from the neighbor. Spanning 30 feet, this G-O2TM Living Wall is full of thriving annuals and will provide the homeowner with instant, long-lasting color throughout summer.

This project illustrates all the possibilities of plants that can grow in a green wall, while providing the community garden with another means for food production. Planted throughout the living wall are vegetables, herbs, annuals, perennials, and even watermelon!

Shady Shores Elementary School - Shady Shores, TX

Students are now learning hands-on! Grades k-5 will have a different type of learning experience when they physically understand how and why a green wall helps our environment. The living wall gives students an opportunity to plant and physically monitor growth changes, plant structure, and functions to plants during different seasons.

Showtime Studios - New York City

Representing Showtime's "The Big C," KokoBo Plantscapes installed a G-O2TM Living Wall to complete the effect. A lush wall, accented with lighting and a white rabbit sculpture, creates an interesting living canvas for an HD LCD TV showing scenes depicting the healing and calming powers of nature.

Plant Connection participated at the PIA (Plantscape Industry Alliance) show in Las Vegas. We displayed our succulent G-O2TM Freestanding Green Wall unit as well as our G-O2TM Living Picture Wall and Flower Tower in order to demonstrate planting options for the South West environment.

Sweet Caroline’s vertical garden is an architectural centerpiece for the overall design. The restaurant has received great reviews, having the 30' living wall named "The Green Monster."

The Village School - Waldwick, NJ

This G-O2TM green wall, measuring 4' wide by 7' tall, was completed for a Pre-K-8 grade school. The spiral design represents their spiral of learning curriculum. Everything is interrelated. One lesson leads to many others...

TIAA-CREF 685 Third Avenue Pocket Park - New York City

The TIAA-CREF pocket park contains reflecting ponds, decorative stone, Honey Locust trees, ample seating, and dramatic lighting. However, the real showstopper for this newly constructed public space is its exterior G-O2 Living Wall that spans over 60 feet wide and 25 feet tall, with a cascading water feature in between. The green wall is home to over 11,000 perennial groundcovers and ferns.

From dramatic container plantings on roof-decks and terraces to colorful window boxes and green walls, perennial beds and sustainable organic landscapes, Winston gardens take many forms. This incredible G-O2TM Living Wall was installed at Winston Flowers shop in the Financial District in downtown Boston at 176 Federal Street.
